Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the questions we've been asked by previous prospective holidaymakers, if you have any questions which have not been answered then please send them to us using the form at the bottom of the page.
Are you allowed to smoke in either of the properties?
You are not allowed to smoke in either of the properties. If staff find any evidence of smoking in the flats, there will be a residual charge taken from your deposit to cover any expenses in cleaning the property.
Are pets allowed?
Apart from guide dogs, there are no pets allowed in either of the properties.
How do we get to the property?
Once we confirm the booking, you can tell us how you intend to travel to Stirling. As the details and booking of travel to and from Stirling aren't included in our service, if you inform us of how you will be arriving in Stirling (either by train, bus or car) we will make the appropriate arrangements to meet and greet you at any destination within the area. If you are unsure of how to get to Stirling, please let us know and we will be happy to offer our help.
Are any of the flats wheelchair accessible?
Due to the building being listed and any alterations subject to local authority supervision, we are unable to offer either 18 or 20 Castle Court to those needing wheelchair access, as the properties are on the first floor in each secondment.
Are there parking facilities available?
There is one car parking space for each apartment at the front of the building, which you will be shown when taken to the accommodation.
Does Albion Holiday Lets have insurance cover for personal items left in the apartments? (e.g. passport, travellers cheques, jewellery, etc)
Although we have cover for our own items within the apartments, and secured boxes to store valuable documents or monies, we do not insure these items individually. We insist that any insurance is organised by the client themselves to cover personal items brought with them.
Do we have to pay a deposit to insure our choice of property is reserved for us?
There is normally a deposit payable to book the property, if the total amount of funds cannot be transferred at the time of booking. The amount of deposit required is 25% of the total amount payable for the accomodation, and subject to our booking contract and conditions, will be repaid in full up to 14 days after you have vacated the property.
What are the prices available when booking a property for a city break, either Friday to Sunday or Friday to Monday?
We charge £225 for a city break, Friday to Sunday, and £250 from Friday to Monday. This is due to covering some costs that would be covered on a week-long let, and not just a 3 or 4 day let. As with any query, please contact us through our email address or telephone number found on our bookings page.
Do you work in conjunction with any other property websites?
We have an advert on LandlordZONE and this gives information about tenants, landlords and agents, to help those wishing to book with us with key information.
